In November 1994, Guangdong Textiles Import & Export Corporation Limited was established through incorporating shares from Guangdong Textiles Import & Export Corporation (Group) as shareholder.
The Corporation Limited owns a registered capital of RMB1.2 hundred million yuan, and holds 10 subsidiaries inclusive of Mayfeng Garments Company Ltd., Cantralia Garments Company Ltd., Eurasia Garments Company Ltd., Grandton Trading Company Ltd., Guangdong H&T Enterprises Company Ltd., Knitwear Company Ltd., Cotton Manufactured Goods Company Ltd., Woollen Knitwears Company Ltd., Cotton Yarn & Piece-Goods Company Ltd., Warehousing & Transportation Company Ltd. In 2001, the Corporation Limited had RMB31,5760.23 thousand yuan of shareholder rights and interests, came up with RMB2.27 billion yuan in turnover, while its export volume being USD260 million.
Apart from textiles and garments with account for a majority of its business, the Corporation also engages in the trade of products in light industry, art works, silk, mental nines and machinery, etc., and furthermore, extends its scope to warehousing and transportation business.
