On Dec. 18^th, Chairman Jiang Hui met with Mr. Jose Luis Enciso Manzo, Mexican Economic Minister in China, and Mr. Jorge Jaffet Millan Marquez, Mexican Commercial Counselor in China.
Mr. Minister introduced the current situation of Mexican textile and apparel industry as well as its preferential policies on attracting foreign investment to enlarge market. Emphasizing that Mexico is an open country, foreign companies including Chinese ones are warmly welcome to invest in Mexico. And with the purpose of eliminating barriers and facilitating in-depth cooperation between each other, Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs is very much willing to provide China's textile and apparel enterprises a series of services including market information transfer, policy interpretation, trade opportunity promotion etc.
With appreciation to Mr. Minister and Mr. Counselor’s visit to CCCT, Chairman Jiang Hui highly praised the cooperation initiative put forward by Mr. Minister and also introduced the basic circumstances of China 's textile and apparel industry as well as its facing problems. Taking some main export markets such as the EU and the U.S. as examples, Chariman Jiang Hui stressed the importance of win-win cooperation and expressed the hope of China’s companies on keeping in touch with Mexican counterparts, enhancing mutual trust meanwhile removing misgivings. And according to Chairman Jiang Hui, more industrial visits and cooperation are expected to be facilitated.

Mr. Xiao Ling, Deputy Secretary General of CCCT and representatives of the related departments also attended the meeting.
