On Jan. 27^th, co-organized by CCCT and The Japan Textiles Importers/Exporters Association, The 14^th Sino-Japanese Textile Trade Annual Meeting was held in Beijing. Hosted by Chairman of CCCT Jiang Hui, Vice Chairman of CCCT Zhang Xinmin and Mr. Yuji Takikawa, Deputy Director-General of The Japan Textiles Importers/Exporters Association successively made an introduction of Sino-Japanese textile trade situation. Representatives from both Chinese and Japanese enterprises attended the meeting. They are Shandong Cherry Group, TF Sunny Garment Co., Ltd., Marubeni Corp., Toyota Tsusho Corp., Itochu Corp. and Chori Co., Ltd. etc. An in-depth discussion was carried out over the trade trends of Sino-Japanese textile and apparel industry in 2013 and views on the issues of ocean freight increase, azo dyes restriction by Japanese government and procurement transfer etc. were thoroughly exchanged between both sides, which led to an agreement that project cooperation as well as information exchanges between the two organizations should continuously be strengthened in the future so as to promote stable development of Sino-Japanese textile and apparel trade. A memorandum of this annual meeting was signed afterwards by Mr. Jiang Hui and Mr. Yuji Takikawa.
