On June 23-30, 2014, a delegation led by Vice Chairman Zhang Xinmin paid a visit to Uzbekistan and Turkey. After visits to the local government authorities, industry organizations and relevant companies, the delegation focused on the survey over the issues of development of the local cocoon & silk industry, textile & apparel trade situation, investment environment, the local consumption custom on silk products & market size as well as trade with China etc., and also took advice on how to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the silk field.
